Very simple to assemble. A very tiny bit of peanut butter on the edge of tipper, and then sit back and wait. This was a gift for a friend that’s a farmer. She said it works like a charm, and gave it two thumbs up. 👍🏼 👍🏼 By the way, the mouse in the pictures, is called mighty. He’s the family (kid’s) pet mouse. Placed a pillow inside the trap to make sure he didn’t get hurt. 🪤 🐭 😁

I thought the lid would be smaller but it is big and looks very effective, just need to find a bucket and do the test.
Thank you very much.

This mouse catcher lid’s quality is fine. Most important it’s functional! It’s a standard size for general bucket. Perfect lock it on the bucket edge!

Our neighborhood is being overrun by mice who are being displaced by the new construction across the street. I had a pet mouse growing up so I actually really like mice and hated the idea of killing them but I absolutely don’t want them in the house. I also didn’t want to use poison as my boxer has already discovered 2 dead ones my neighbors poisoned and I want to do everything I can to keep her from getting sick.
This bucket trap seemed like the perfect solution. I set it up on our patio under a bbq cover, where we had seen poop. That evening we were relaxing on the patio and could hear a little mouse checking it out. He was pretty cautious tapping the trap door but eventually fell in. The next morning we released him in hills.
We’ve since caught 2 more. I wish we could catch more than one at a time but I can’t really blame the trap for that. Seems like the mice are at least smart enough to know not to fall it or the same trap their buddy just went into.
I just bought a second one so hopefully we can at least start catching 2 a night.

Two nights and I have 5 mice and that’s more than I expected. Was gonna take them across the river to set free, but then realized the folks on the other side bring them over here and set them free. I filled the bucket with a few inches of water and it was over rather quickly. I bought the original Rinne Trap because I thought it would be a higher quality. I was surprised to see how flimsy it is. Not even close to the rigidity of the lid that came with the bucket. I must catch twenty mice to break even when price is compared to snap traps and that’s probably doable. Much easier and cleaner when compared to other options. ⭐️ concept ⭐️ efficiency ⭐️ simplicity ⭐️ price 👎 quality

I have lots of the humane mouse traps and they work fine but this trap is amazing for several reasons. First, the mice are ready for transport to the forest without me having to move them from the trap to a bucket. Second, they have lots of space to move around for whatever time they have to be there and I can leave water and a bed (I know, I'm a softie). Third, its super easy to hose out. I was stupefied to find five mice in one trap after only a few hours. I knew that my cats were getting lazy but I didn't realize that they had completely gone on strike!...and I found one mouse in the kitchen trap. I'm going to buy another one to keep in my van. This trap is so simple yet totally ingenious. Don't think the mice won't climb that ramp because they do! I smeared a touch of peanut butter in the middle of the ramp just to encourage them but not sure if it was actually needed. Be sure to buy the Made in America ones. Word is that the others are made very cheaply...or so I read from other reviews. I took their advice. Interestingly enough, just after I purchased them CBS Sunday Morning interviewed the guys who invented it. Kudos guys! I went to Home Depot and bought their 5 gallon buckets for $5 each. I don't know who these people are who are selling those absurdly overpriced buckets on * but give them a pass. Anyway, I cannot recommend this trap enough!

This little mouse pictured in the trap had managed to do what the other three members of his/her posse could not: avoid triggering the snap traps! My snap traps had worked effectively for a few nights after I noticed mice in my new home.
However, there came a point where the peanut butter was disappearing from a couple of the traps every night without the traps being triggered! I knew there was one last elusive rodent in my midst. For a few nights, it played me for a fool and enjoyed a protein-rich treat while leaving it's foul droppings in my home. I finally decided to purchase and pull out the big gun in this war: this RinneTraps Flip N Slide!
The first night this trap spent on duty was fruitless, but that was likely user error on my part. I left the other peanut butter-baited traps out along with it. Imagine my surprise when I awoke to discover a couple had been eaten from again whilst the Flip N Slide was empty. I remembered the part about the scientific method that said to control for variables, so i put up all my snap traps and left the Flip N Slide to be the sole sentry of my abode.
The next morning, I peeked into the trap and was met with the gaze of the beady little eyes of my household nemesis. I actually laughed with joy; the Flip N Slide had worked like a charm! Though this little mouse had been a thorn in my side for a while now, I had to respect his/her hustle. As a gesture of this respect, I decided to let it live, just not in my house. So I took it to an open field a few miles away from my house and released it.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the story of how the Flip N Slide bested the last of the rodent menace in my home. I highly recommend it, I'm sure it will do the same for you.
Thank you very much.
